Again Stan Loh has written a catchy melody and poetic lyrics to go with it. And again I got free hands to add my arrangement. A simple arrangement this time. Bass, a few carefully selected synth drum sounds, cymbals, a pluck synth, and an Irish flute. The song is about the people that make inventions and use their imagination to think ideas that take us humans further and further.

Further Side of Silence (C) December 19, 2013 Stan Loh A song to encourage inventors.
Walk a mile with me, To the further side of silence, Where the mind foresees, Jumbled thoughts that have no sequence, Go to where no one has trodden, Where the paths could own their moments, Read the sign that says don’t stop, Go and try the flips and flops, There lies your answer, lies your answer.
Probe the mind so deep, Feel the dark in each cold desert, You may find a seed, With a root just shy of paydirt, Don’t you fear the pangs of empty, Round the corner doors of plenty, Where the light illuminates, Each discovery undertakes! A load for an answer, a load for an answer,
No black and white in triumph, No patience can predict, The further you go through silence, The truth will soon unstick, Oh you found it … found it … found it!
That angles can be round, Now in death lie many errors, Silence gives you sound, And you triumph over barriers, You don’t fear the pangs of empty, Round the corner doors of plenty, Where the light illuminates, Each discovery undertakes! A load off your shoulders, a load off your shoulders.
