Transit Of Venus

Transit Of Venus. Venus passing between the sun and earth. A rare event. Last time was in 2004. Next time is this year 2012, June 5-6. And then you have to wait until year 2117 for the next one. So don't miss it.

The music is a simple piece. It only has 3 instruments, all modeled synths. Very quiet and reflective music. The inspiration came from hearing the sound of one of the synths. Though I could have added more and polished the sounds I chose not to. I think the quality of this music lies in its mood, the melody and the sounds that came from pressing the keys at different strengths.

The photo is one I took with my own camera. Exciting experience.
