Kenneth's Webcam Package
Introduction
This is a package that contains the configuration files for the webcam program motion and the Perl and PHP programs that Kenneth has written to make a self-maintained webcam website. It includes video streaming and a 2nd camera server setup. It has Perl scripts for organising the picture files and to ease maintainability. You probably cannot use this as an exact clone of Kenneth's website but there are some snips of code that can be used for inspiration.

This is a package that contains the configuration files for the webcam program motion and the Perl and PHP programs that I have written to make a self-maintained webcam website.
Rev 2.2 includes video streaming and a 2nd camera server setup. It has improved Perl scripts for organising the picture files and to ease maintainability all that is common to the many cameras are now in a few include files instead of being repeated 8 times. I have also added a camera rotation feature to cam5 (the C program that controls the servo not included as it is outside the scope of Motion).
Attached Files
Zip and tar.gz file contains all PHP and Perl files. (the contents of zip and tar.gz are identical)
Installation
Copy the files to your Apache webserver.

Kenneth, I too have a Logitech Orbit MP. Mine is the newer rev. I was wondering if you would be willing to share the code that controls the pan/tilt from the web? This would be ideal for my setup. It is using motion on a Fedora 7 box. I downloaded the package here, but it only includes code for up to cam 8.

Never mind. I was able to find it in another section of the site. I now have pan/tilt/etc working with the orbit MP.
