Multiple cameras

Question

I have a capture card called GrandTek bt848 with 4 ports for 4 cammeras. I whanted to ask you how exactly cand i configure that all the 4 cameras conected to the same capture card cand be used in one instance of the motion software. How and where i specifie the options 4 each camera. I read that this will be done into the thread.conf file but i can't find where and what to write to select each camera in a separate thread.conf. The only available device is /dev/video0. Do i have to setup something like a port for this device. I am working to implment you device into a Smart Home system. Thank you. Answer

Look for the Round Robin feature

MotionGuide#Round_Robin_feature

And read carefully the section in the Motion Guide thread config files. It is explained there better than I can describe in a few words here.
