Flicker Problem

Question

I have a problem where the webcam keeps flickering periodically to set off the motion mechanism. I don't want this to happen. This is not a hardware problem since the webcam works fine on other machines. Hope you have some way for me to fix this (by the way they are almost always the same threshold values so there may be a way to do it through that but I have no idea).

Environment

Motion version:	3.2.3
ffmpeg version:
Libraries:	ffmpeg, mysql, postgresql
Server OS:	Slackware

What webcam do you have ?

What driver and what version do you use ?

Could you attach your motion.conf ?
