Question

The freshmeat.net entry is not up to date.

Hi, I think you should keep your freshmeat.net entry up to date. There are about 150 subscribers to the motion entry (like myself) and that's a good way to get notified about updates.

Furthermore, freshmeat.net is where I found out about motion, when looking for webcam apps. (And I did read motion's release announcements back when I had time to browse all freshmeat.net announcements.)

motion is a very unique app. For a comparable Windows app, you have to pay loads of cash. Please make sure people know about it...

Answer

It is difficult to remember. And it is pain because your changes have to be approved by a real person and they always have something to complain about when you add a release.

I personally never look at freshmeat anymore.

But I have added 3.2.8 as a release. That is - if they accept it.
