log to file rather than to syslog

Question

could you add an option to log motion-logs to a file rather than to syslog? sometimes it produces tons of output and i don't like it if my syslog file gets bigger than 100mb (last time it was 2.2GB only because motion logged hundreds of thousands of errors connecting to a webcam)

Answer

Instead of log to a file , what i've been thinking is to improve MotionLog , allowing to define a motion log level to avoid this kind of problems.
