Does Linux Preemption Matter?
Question
Hi - I was thinking of using Ubuntu Server version for my motion machine. The specs for the server edition say that preemption is turned-off. Does this make a difference in motion performance. Is it better to have preemption on or off?
Environment
Motion version:
3.2.11
ffmpeg version:
Libraries:
ffmpeg, mysql, postgresql
Server OS:
Ubuntu 8.10 Server
