Two similar webcams

Question

Hello,

I have a Ubuntu 8.10 server running at home, and would like to include 2 same webcams. The setting of 2 devices with Motion presents no problem.

However, when I use 2 of the same webcams motion only allows me to access one of the both.

Follow Up

Florian, what do you mean by "access one of both" ? ... what are the message in logs ?

Please submit more information , motion.conf / threadX.conf , log messages, etc

My guess is you are using both cameras plugged to one PCI USB Host and you probably need to use a dedicated one for each camera.
