Camera refocusing causes false positive motion detection
Question
When using motion, I find that the camera sometimes refocuses, and that motion incorrectly interprets this as a motion event. Is there any way to avoid this?
Environment
Motion version:
3.2.12
ffmpeg version:
Libraries:
ffmpeg, mysql, postgresql
Server OS:
Ubuntu 10.10

- 09 Jun 2011 I would give the lightswitch option a try.

. You might have to adjust the 5 frames value in the source code or even better add a config option to optionally set it; maybe something like: "lightswitch 50:20" meaning 50% and 20 frames. HTH
