how it knows page sis a jpg and multiple jpgs/movies per page example

Question

if i go to myvids.org:8081 how does it know its a jpg andddd how does it know to pull them continuously? let alone the sizes? also i now have 4 cams on one page streaming like a regular surveilance system. beats the multiple pages open or tabs. example: <img src="http://homevid.dyndns.org:8081" width="400" height="300"><img src="http://homevid.dyndns.org:8082" width="400" height="300"><br> <img src="http://homevid.dyndns.org:8083" width="400" height="300"><img src="http://homevid.dyndns.org:8084" width="400" height="300"><br>
