Motion shows the bottom of the image gray

Question

I'm doing a live streaming with motion and IP cameras and everything works fine, the problem is that when I cover the camera with a jacket obviously the image turns black, I dont know what happen with the motion.conf, but half of the image shows gray. If I remove the jacket motion continues showing the half of the image color gray and the top looks fine. I guessed was the camera, but the images uploaded by FTP looks fine, I've tried with two different cameras. I changed the lightswitch to 100 but the problem continues. What other options can I try for light changes ?

I get the live streaming by netcam_url where it reads a file.php, php returns the last image of a folder
