Can motion read from standard input / pipe / file instead of the video device ?

Question

Apologies if this is answered, but I checked and was unable to find anything in the Answered questions. I know I can use the loopback device (have finally compiled it for the raspberry pi), but is there any way for motion to read the native H.264 stream from stdin ? (example - an output from raspivid or ffmpeg)
