Targeting system for Raspberry Pi
Question
I am building a Nerf Sentry Gun to shoot my co workers:) I am using a Raspberry PI (RPi) for my controller and need a way to create a targeting system. I am using the default RPi camera to handle video. I am assuming that motion will work fine with my camera (if not I can probably figure out how to make it work).
My question is.. are there any recommendations or suggestion for creating a target system. I am a competent c programmer but before I dive in, I was wondering if I would be reinventing the wheel. I see that motion has great feedback on positioning so that should be great for configuring targeting but was interested in any experience that may help me in the right direction. I need to figure out a way to calibrate the nerf gun too so any suggestions are welcome.
Thanks in advance,
Chris
