Server returned 401 Unauthorized (authorization failed)

Question

Hi! Thank you for your application.

I'm trying to connect ip camera via rtsp.

netcam_url rtsp://192.168.25.100:554/live
netcam_userpass admin:hKJE2MhiK9pr

But i'm get a message:

At VLC it work fine.

Environment

Motion version:	3.2.11
ffmpeg version:	2.8
Libraries:	ffmpeg, mysql, postgresql
Server OS:	ubuntu server 12.04 3.13.0-43-generic

Answer

The version indicated in the request is quite old(3.2.11). Authentication of RTSP stream has problems in current SVN and Sackmotion git repos. The patchwork for new release 3.4 does include patches to resolve this.
