Image corruption when capturing 2 cameras

Question

When I capture video from 2 cameras, both images are corrupted: each camera contains parts of image of another camera.

Cameras are Logitech 046d:08c1 and 046d:0991
One captures 640x480, second 960x720

About every 2-3 seconds corruption appears in the video image.

As you can see is seems that these corruptions are parts of another camera picture.

If only one camera connected all works fine.

Is it camera, ffmpeg or motion issue?

UPDATE can be related to this bug: http://www.lavrsen.dk/foswiki/bin/view/Motion/BugReport2011x06x24x150605

WORKAROUND: don't use threads, instead launch new instances of motion for every camera

Environment

Motion version: 3.2.12
ffmpeg version: ffmpeg-cvs-20060306
Libraries: ffmpeg, v4l2
Server OS: openSUSE 11.4 32bit, kernel 2.6.37
