on_movie_end doesen't work

Hello. I have been searching for answer but none helped. I've been using motion on my Raspberry pi for a while now, and everything was working OK even on_movie_end event. Yesterday i changed Raspbian to Raspbian minimal image, and reinstalled motion, with same config, but on_movie_end doesen't do anything now! I've also tried just a simple echo to a file (echo "test" >> /home/pi/test.txt - also with sudo), but nothing works. Am i missing some permissions or what's wrong? Same config, working before, but not now.
