X-Y coordinates

Question

I found the setting to add the x-y coordinates of the center of a moving object to the text stamp on images. I would like to export those coordinates to a text file.

Purpose: I want to give the camera a solid background. Throw a ball (or something) across the camera's field of view. Get out a text file containing the coordinates of the ball throughout it's flight. Preferably the text file will contain two columns, one x-axis, the other y-axis. This file I want to feed to a python program I have written to analyze the motion of the ball. How can I do this?

Environment

Motion version: 3.2.12
ffmpeg version:
Libraries: ffmpeg, mysql, postgresql
Server OS:
