BUG: Motion stops recording (but keeps running)
Motion appears to work OK with my setup, and I get a bunch of videos dayly, usually triggered by obvious motion. After some time, however, it appears to simply stop detecting new movements. I can't find any error messages, the motion process appears up and running, and after I enabled hourly snapshots, they keep ticking in - but there are no events, and no videos or stills.
I thought perhaps it was related to insufficient CPU (I first observed this happening after I switched from an Athlon 64 to a dual-core Atom), but it appears that CPU load is low, also when motion is encoding video.
Except for this little issue, motion is great, so I'd really like to keep using it. Any ideas?
(Please email me at ketil (a) malde dot org with any questions!)
Edit: I'm running the system from an USB disk, if that would make any difference.
