BUG: aera_detect not working at all

Whatever value you set for aera_detect, it will be ignored! 

No error message , because area_detect is not working at all! 
The responsible option area_detect and the script on_area_detected are not used/present 
in any motion file! (I tried to help myself and checked all files of an old version 3.1.19 
and the actual version as well for this.)

Environment

Motion version: 3.2.12
ffmpeg version: ffmpeg 0.8.3-4:0.8.3-0ubuntu0.12.04.1
Shared libraries: ffmpeg, mysql, postgresql
Server OS: ubuntu 12.04, mint 13 and others tested
