Can motion/pwc support Philips "true" 1.3M DMVC1300K ?

Just wondered if Motion/pwc can support this or if you know of another true 1.3M camera? With thanks Ian

Answer

Motion supports any camera which has a V4L (not V4L2 yet - it is being worked on) and delivers either YUV420P, YUV422 or RGB24 formats.

If the question is if the DMVC1300K is supported then the question is really - is there are driver for it for Linux. I don't know. Some - but not all - Philips cameras are supported by the pwc driver.

I would google for DMVC1300K and Linux as a start and then maybe ask on the pwc mailing list.
