Question

have a card PICO2000 with 4 video input BNC, it function on /dev/video0, how one make to activate the 4 input in the file of conf of motion?

Answer

You do not write which PICO2000 card you have. If you have the one with one BT878 chip then the method is.

You need 4 thread config files. In all 4 you use the same video_device /dev/video0. But in each thread you have a different input number. Probably 0,1,2,3. Or 1,2,3,4. This makes Motion run in Round Robin mode.

If the card is the expensive one with 4 BT878 chips then Linux should find 4 video devices /dev/video0 ... /dev/video3. And then they all use input 0 or 1.

Question

Thank you for help, the card bt878 has only one heart. I have create 4 files with /dev/video0 input 0 1 2 3

I disconnected port webcam which posted a message with the screen. now, I have a message with the screen "IOCTL (VIDIOCGCHAN): INVALID ARGUMENT".

or I can find an example of file?
