BUG: Genius Cam doesn't work with karmic and motion 3.2.11.1.

I have a genius web cam that works fine with applications like cheese and xawtv bat it does not work in motion 3.2.11.1, am currently using ubuntu karmic with kernel 2.6.31-15-generic. I have been reading some of the bug reports and already use two patches, none of them work for me, i think by the error logs that could be something about the palettes.

When i use motion -n -c motion.conf it revels some errors like
